ctionAid is an international charity working in Afghanistan since 2002 to support the most vulnerable—particularly women, girls, disabled persons and families affected by conflict, drought and disasters—by providing life-saving emergency aid (cash assistance, winter/hygiene kits, psychosocial support), promoting women’s rights and civic participation, and strengthening sustainable livelihoods through agriculture, training, home-gardening and vocational programs—all with an emphasis on gender equity, resilience, and local leadership.
